Two Worlds, One Man
I’ve spent 25 years building things — companies, teams, processes, systems. And simultaneously, for just as long, I’ve been doing the other kind of building: the inner kind.
My professional path took me through media informatics, project management in renewable energy infrastructure, telecoms, and eventually to founding two companies. The last decade as a freelancer has given me the freedom to work with the people and challenges that genuinely matter to me.
My personal path took me somewhere different — into Kundalini Yoga teacher training, into the MankindProject, around ceremonial fires in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Ireland, the US, Canada, and Mexico. Into ShadowWork facilitation training in the UK. Into the Vorstand of MKP Deutschland. Into fatherhood three times over. And eventually, into emigrating with my entire family.
What Shaped Me
Not all of it was chosen. Some of it arrived uninvited.
Growing up as the son of a father with a strong need for control left me with questions I’d spend decades trying to answer. Losing a close friend in an accident at my own birthday celebration — almost before my eyes — was one of those moments that doesn’t let you look away. These experiences didn’t break me. They invited me, again and again, to look inward.
Be the change you want to see in the world. I don’t quote Gandhi lightly. It’s become a working principle.
The Bridge
What makes my work distinct — and what I’ve come to see as genuinely rare — is the bridge between worlds. I can sit with a senior engineer navigating the identity shift of becoming a leader, and I can sit with a man who just watched his marriage end and doesn’t know who he is anymore. In both cases, the work is the same underneath.
The inner tools I’ve gathered over 15+ years alongside hundreds of men don’t compete with professional competence. They deepen it.
